SPECIAL EDITION OF CURRENTS NEWS: THE 2026 MARCH FOR LIFE

New York’s Catholic station, NET TV, announces the premiere of the Currents News “March for Life” special airing Friday, January 23, 2026, at 7 p.m., following the conclusion of the 2026 March for Life in Washington, D.C.

The 30-minute newscast will feature exclusive team coverage of the 2026 March for Life with Currents News reporters on the ground in the nation’s capital, along with compelling pro-life stories within the Diocese of Brooklyn.

This Currents News March for Life special will include:

 – Interviews with some of the thousands gathering to defend the dignity of life and protect the unborn, as reporters will be embedded with the marchers.

– An interview with Diocese of Brooklyn Bishop Robert Brennan, a consultant to the USCCB Committee on Pro-Life Activities, who again will lead faithful from Brooklyn and Queens on a pilgrimage to D.C., hoping to change hearts and minds as to the value of all human life.

– Stories of parishioners whose pro-life ministries extend far beyond a single day of marching, including those who gather monthly to pray outside abortion clinics and offer support to mothers in need.

– Profiles of people living the pro-life mission every day, including a mother from Brooklyn who turned her unimaginable loss into a pro-life legacy.

The half-hour March for Life special will air on Currents News, NET TV’s nightly newscast. NET TV is a cable network featuring news and information from a Catholic perspective and is available in the New York area on Spectrum, channel 97, Optimum, channel 30, and Verizon FIOS channel 548.  Viewers can also watch Currents News online on YouTube or on netny.tv/shows/currentsnews/.
