"I was a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me" Mt 25:35.

Women of community
A woman religious commits herself to Christ and to the Church by her vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.  She lives in community with other vowed religious women, patterning her life on the charism and teachings of the foundress.

The life of a religious sister revolves around the values of prayer, community, and service. Community provides companionship and support; prayer strengthens her relationship with God and provides the grace necessary to reach out in service to the Church and to the world.

Women of service
The role of women in the Church is constantly developing and expanding.  Religious women, bonded together by a common vision and common goals, can be found ministering in schools and colleges, soup kitchens, and day care centers.  Sisters are doctors, lawyers, and health care administrators. Vowed religious will be found wherever there is a need!
