DIRECTIONS TO ST. JAMES CATHEDRAL
BASILICA
By car from
the Bronx:
Take the Major Degan
Expressway to the Triborough Bridge. When crossing the bridge,
do not ride in the far right lane as it is an exit only lane.
Directly after this exit, be in the right lane for the upcoming exit
for the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Ride to Exit 29 for
Tillary Street. At the 3rd traffic light make a right onto Jay
Street. St. James Cathedral is one block ahead on the
right side of the street.
By car from
any direction in Brooklyn and Queens:
Take the
Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to the Civic Center-Tillary Street
exit. Go straight ahead on Tillary Street to Jay Street (the
3rd traffic light). Turn right onto Jay Street. St. James
Cathedral is one block ahead on the right side of the
street.
From
Manhattan:
Take the Manhattan
Bridge to Flatbush Avenue and Tillary Street. Turn right onto
Tillary Street and go one block to Jay Street. Turn right onto
Jay Street. Saint James Cathedral is one block ahead on the
right side of the street.
Or:
Take the Brooklyn
Bridge to Tillary Street. Turn left onto Tillary Street and go
one block to Jay Street. Turn left onto Jay Street.
Saint James Cathedral is one block ahead on the right side of the
street.
By
subway:
Take the A, C or F
trains to Jay Street-Boro Hall station. Walk down Jay Street
away from Fulton Street for 2 blocks. Saint James Cathedral is one
block past Tillary Street.
Or:
Take the M, N or R
trains, alos the # 2 or 3, as well as the northbound # 4 or 5 train
to Court Street-Boro Hall station. Walk down Cadman Plaza West
(away from Boro Hall) to Tillary Street. Turn right onto
Tillary Street to Jay Street (3 blocks). Turn left onto Jay
Street for one block.
