The primary body that oversees the guidelines as well as
the practice of liturgy as it occurs in our diocese is the liturgical
commission. Who comprises the commission? What are the essentials of its
work?
As executive secretary, Msgr. John C.Tosi oversees the work of the
commission which he share with its other members. Along with maintaining and
interpreting diocesan guidelines related to liturgy, the commission also
publishes a quarterly newsletter, sponsors special events, and keeps folders on
a variety of liturgy leaders (i.e. musicians, readers, etc.)
The goal of the commission's work is to promote the
understanding and practice of authentic Christian worship of God. If you have
