Call
for assistance funding Mass stipends for catechetical training center Masaka,
Uganda
On
February 6, 2001 Fr. Ssegawa Paul, director of St. Charles Lwanga Catechetical
Center wrote to Fr. Brogan, our missions office director:
Warm Greetings from Masaka,
Uganda. I am in charge of a diocesan catechetical training center, at Villa
Maria founded in 1965.
The catechists come
here for one year of training as they improve their skills and techniques in
pastoral work and evangelization. Most of our catechists do not have adequate
skills, but all the same they carry out a very commendable and loving work in
the pastoral field.
I am lacking Mass-stipends
and am asking your assistance. I will be very grateful for any possible
help.
With prayerful
wishes.
