Job Training and Job
Creation Resources, Inc. - a division of the Catholic
Migration Office of the Diocese of Brooklyn - has successfully carried out job
training and job creation for the last five years. These courses, taught by paid
professionals, operate without government funding.
The office operates
programs in three areas: cleaning, graphic design, and culinary arts.
Inspired by the Church's understanding that work ennobles people, Resources
seeks to give immigrants the skills to do work that dignifies and
perfects.
Resources'
Programs: Professional Cleaning: Intensive training with opportunity for employment
in Resources' own cleaning company
Graphic Design: Hands-on
training in computer software and design with opportunity for employment in
Resources' own professional graphic design department
Culinary Arts: Dedicated chefs teach
the
skills to work professionally in the food services industry
