Our Thirtieth Anniversary Celebration, 1971-2001

The anniversary Mass on June 23 employed the wealth of cultures within the diocese.  The first reading was read in Polish and the second was in Creole.  The music also came from different continents: a Celtic Alleluia, a Hail Mary in Russian, and other hymns in Spanish, Italian, and French.  The Prayer of the Faithful was prayed in 18 languages, representing the 21 apostolates of the Migration Office.
