With special programs for all grade levels, the Diocese seeks to find an appropriate place for children with special needs. The three main programs are:

  • Primary and intermediate levels  for mentally challenged students at several schools throughout the Diocese
  • The Center for Students with Learning Disabilities (S.A.I.L.) at SS. Simon & Jude School
  • A program for mentally challenged students at Bishop Ford High School

Because it is our goal to assist students to become independent, we offer a curiculum that builds practical skills. Our work-study programs allow older students to experience the world of work in order to prepare themselves to be contributing members of our society.
