Episcopal Vicars are the bishop's representatives to a part of the diocese. The Diocese of Brooklyn is divided into four vicariates and there are four Episcopal Vicars responsible for the pastoral life in his region. With 1.6 million Catholics in the Diocese, each vicariate has more than a quarter million Catholics and more than 50 parishes.
