Coming from many different cultures and speaking many different languages,
we found strength in our common faith.
But “A Diocese of Immigrants” is not just a characterization of a distant
past but is the continuous theme in our history. Even today we welcome new
waves of Catholic immigrants into our Diocese. Mass is said every week in
26 different languages, and there are parishioners from 167 countries.
