STATEMENT BY BISHOP THOMAS V. DAILY DIOCESE OF BROOKLYN DEC. 13, 2002 ON CARDINAL LAW’S RESIGNATION
Cardinal Law, recognizing the hurts in the Church, by resigning as the Archbishop of Boston has taken a step toward what he deemed was needed for the healing process to move ahead. The innocent victims who have suffered continue to deserve our prayers and ministry. As a friend and a brother Bishop, I also intend to keep Cardinal Law in my prayers, as he asked in his statement of resignation, with the hope that it will bring him a measure of peace.
