‘STREAMING VIDEO’
ON DEATH PENALTY

Viewers of the Web site of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (www.usccb.org) can click on to a 14:30 segment of the Diocese of Brooklyn’s video “Mercy and Justice: The Morality of the Death Penalty” which appears on the “streaming video” feature.

            Included in the video are testimonies of opponents of capital punishment whose children were murdered and comments by Pope John Paul II made during a pastoral visit to the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

            Production of the video, offered in the Real Player and Windows Media formats, was funded by a grant from the USCCB’s Catholic Communication Campaign collection.
