BISHOP TO DISCUSS EDUCATION

                                             ON DIOCESAN TELEVISION                                               

 

            Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio and a panel of educators will talk about parochial education in the Diocese and the role of teachers on the CTN instructional television school service and the Prayer Channel.

 

            The one-hour program will have its initial airing on the CTN school service channels 8 and 12 on Friday, April 23, at 2:30 p.m. It will also be shown on those channels Monday and Tuesday, April 26 and 27, both at 2:30 p.m.

 

            The Prayer Channel will broadcast the program Monday, April 26, at 8 p.m. and Thursday, April 29, at 7 p.m.

 

            Joining Bishop DiMarzio during the hour will be Msgr. Michael J. Hardiman, Vicar for Education; Dr. Thomas Chadzutko, Superintendent of Schools; Annmarie Fahey, director of the diocesan Human Resources Office; Dennis Farrell, principal of Sacred Heart School, Bayside, and Gail Harvey, assistant principal of St. Saviour’s School, Park Slope. 

 

            The program is entitled: “A Conversation with Bishop DiMarzio: Catholic Schools and Their Teachers---Blessing upon Blessing.”

 

            The work of the diocesan Task Force on Education will be among the topics under discussion.
