The Office of
Faith Formation of the Diocese of Brooklyn works with parishes
and catechetical leaders throughout Brooklyn and Queens in
offering Jesus Christ and His Church to all people in all
situations. We seek to offer Faith Formation that is lifelong,
comprehensive and authentically Catholic.
A MESSAGE FROM THE DIOCESAN DIRECTOR
The Office of Faith Formation, encompassing catechetical
ministries for people of all ages and states of life, is
committed to the spread of the Gospel and the building up of
Christ's Church throughout our Diocese. The staff of the Office
provides leadership training and support to all those involved
in the various ministries of faith formation and religious
education to help them in their efforts “to make disciples, to
help people believe that Jesus is the Son of God so that
believing they might have life in His name, and to educate and
instruct them in this life, thus building up the body of Christ”
(Catechism of the Catholic Church 4). Anyone who wishes to learn
